We also have MCP Processed commercial lignans which are also high quality, but they aren't as strict standards as this one. The Organic industry has changed over the past few years, and not for the better. The word "organic" now allows for cross pollinated GMO products to be used in anything that is certified organic, up to 8%. We feel this is a problem when many customers are buying organic thinking they are getting non-gmo. Our flax hull lignans are no longer certified organic, but they are certified "USA Ancient Seeds" which holds a HIGHER STANDARD than "organic". We know that there is going to be an educational period where our customers are going to have to learn about this new certification and why we are doing it, but we want these lignans to not only hold up to organic standards, but NON-GMO standards as well. Nothing has changed in our product, just the paperwork. We still have all the standards of organic, we just have a few higher standards that we are embracing. There is no GMO flax used in these flax hull lignans. On that note, our manufacturer always avoids GMO sources for commercial lignans as well but he says that it's possible to get some every once in awhile if he isn't specifically purchasing "Non-GMO" flax - which is reserved for this product and costs more.

<span style="font-size: 18pt;
